Details pertaining to the commissioning of artwork and it's usage thereafter. Please try to stay awake.
I reserve all the copyright of artwork commissioned unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing. This includes the copyright to all roughs and preliminary sketches.
Any required dimensions or specific image details must be specified in writing by the client before any work is undertaken.
Commissioned artwork may only be used for the purpose agreed. Any additional or alternative use must be separately negotiated. Use of commissioned artwork in forms not agreed by myself will be considered a breach of contract.
I pride myself on never missing a reasonable deadline, but can accept no liability for the late delivery of artwork for reasons beyond my control, such as internet failure, postal disruption, illness, acts of God etc.
Finished artwork is delivered in digital form (Jpg/Pdf/Tiff/Png etc) unless agreed otherwise.
Finished artwork is dispatched on receipt of payment unless specifically agreed otherwise. If payment has been agreed to be paid after receipt of artwork, then payment in full is expected within 28 days of completion. Late payment of invoices will incur interest.
I do not provide speculative artwork or bespoke-samples on request. Payment will be required for all conceptual artwork and roughs. When a commission is assured, all concept art & roughs will be included as part of the final fee.
If a commission is cancelled by the client prior to it's completion, due to no fault of my own, payment will be required for any artwork already supplied.
As a freelancer, please be aware before contacting me that I may not be able to start on your project immediately. Commissions are undertaken on a 'first come, first served' basis. Occasionally, particularly if a project is large and time consuming, I may have to take time-out to undertake regular deadline work. If this is likely to be the case, I will inform the client prior to accepting the commission.
